Sustainability

Better decisions.
More sustainable outcomes.

Sustainability isn’t a standalone initiative, it’s built into the way we work. By improving how repairs are assessed, allocated and completed, we help reduce waste, improve efficiency and support better environmental outcomes across the repair journey.

Sustainability starts with better repair decisions.

We’ll guide you through each stage of the repair journey and keep you updated along the way. Your repair journey may vary slightly depending on your insurer, fleet provider, or repairer, but the steps below outline what typically happens next.

01

Repair over replace

Reducing unnecessary replacement by repairing components wherever it's safe and appropriate.

02

Green parts integration

Supporting responsible parts sourcing to reduce environmental impact without compromising repair quality.

03

Smarter decisions

Using data and technology to improve repair allocation, reduce unnecessary journeys and increase operational efficiency.

raising standards

Building a future-ready network.

Sustainability also depends on raising standards across the wider repair network. We work closely with our repair partners to support future-ready capabilities, recognised standards and continuous improvement that strengthen the repair ecosystem.

ev capability

We connect every vehicle to the right repairer.

Supporting repairers with the specialist equipment, training and expertise needed to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle repairs.

Energy Efficiency Pathway (EEP)

Site-level support.

National Assistance’s EEP is a practical, site-level support programme that helps repairers cut energy costs, reduce consumption, and lower emissions through simple, prioritised actions. It is not a new standard or accreditation, and is a unique measurement to us.

It has built for the shape of our network – single site independently funded repairers – so the support is hands-on and practical, not another admin burden.

Recognised Standards & Accreditation

Continuous improvement.

Working with our repair partners to promote recognised industry standards, encourage best practice and support continuous improvement across the repair network.
